He's sick, and the fact that he came home means HE'S SICK.

oh, no! I hope it is not too serious and he is up and out of there feeling lots better very soon.

Well I called Chanon this morning and paid off my trip.

Robyn- My mouth is very sore...without giving TMI...I now have stitches in part of my mouth and percocet is once again my friend. I am missing my pepsi to kickstart my day but other than that (and work woes) I am okay. Because my insurance has a $1500 yearly limit we are going to see how well I tolerate the work being spread over the next 5 months. That way I have to pay less than if we did it all this year. Plus it gives my mouth a little more time to heal.

So does ours.... makes it hard, doesn't it?? Hope you can make it that long and that your pain is quickly gone Theresa.

I had an odd reaction to the meds....I was seeing double and lightheaded so I napped and slept and now I feel better. But meds and cold stuff is obviously an at home stuff.

I was going to start packing today, but I am just not in the mood(don't faint Elizabeth ). Tomorrow we are packing up the kitchen & then Riley has games this weekend, so I should be able to get going on it Sunday night. If not I will have Monday

I need some prayers...As I was online earlier, myb rother called and asked for mom--i knew something was wrong so i got mom and we found out Joe had been in a motorcycle accident. He was driving to the firehouse and a car swerved in his lane and was headed right towards him. He had to choose to get hit by the car or go towards to grass and dump his bike. So he went for the grass and there was a big ditch. Joe was knocked unconcious for a bit and we headed to the hospital around 1130..he is still there, my dad and I just came home for ab it and we are headed back. As of now, they think his shoulder and jaw may be broken. Im pretty much freaking out and i know how strong DDA prayer is...thanks

But I think it is more difficult and time-consuming to do it that way. And that is why we have kept our landline. We have been debating the need for long distance service lately, though. We use our cell phones all the time to call friends and family that are out of the area. I think the only time we have used our landline is when Bob forgets his cell phone works in the house now!

We got rid of long distance on our house phone years ago. It was cheaper to use a phone card at the time and we have since started using the cell phone for long distance. We didn't miss not having it on the phone. After we switched to DSL for our computer we even cut our land line down to the minumum level of service and it was still $27 per month and we never used up the allowed minutes.

I would be having panic attacks if I waited until the last minute to pack. Heck, Chris probably would too since he'd be worried that something was wrong with me I know that I would forget some essentials if I waited until the last minute That you pack quickly and don't forget anything.

Yes, but most stations don't dispatch. The 911 call center is a separate location. The dispatcher gets the call and sends the officer either by radio or computer (if said department has computers in their patrol cars). So if you call your local station, saying I have an emergency, they are either going to tell you to call 911 or transfer you to the call center. I know here in our area, if you call the station you immediately get a recording saying if you have an emergency to hang up and dial 911. They you have to listen to a bunch of "if you want this push 1, if you want that push 2" etc. etc.

You might want to check how your particular area operates.

I took 4 advil and laid down for a couple of hours. I'm still not feeling great, but do feel a bit less achy. I was toying with trying to find someone to work for me, but I'm not sure that I feel THAT bad. I hate to call in and would rather tough it out.

I called Mom to check on her. She was not even halfway through her treatment! I thought she was supposed to start at 8:40. She was actually supposed to have blood drawn at 9:40 and start chemo at 10:40, but she didn't get to chemo from the lab until noon. So when I talked to her at 1:30 she was JUST finishing the Adriamycin drip and they were getting ready to hang the Cytoxan. She said her hair is coming out, and they told her by the time she comes in for blood work next week she will probably be completely bald.

Last week there was a guy on the Collectors board who is coming to WDW the same time we are. He is from Germany and offered to bring pins to trade if people were interested. I didn't have any traders listed, so I quick went to PinPics and listed some that we have on hand.

I didn't disable the feature that lets other people e-mail though, and I got an e-mail from someone who wanted to trade. OK, fine. Just this once we'll do a trade by mail. Well, we sent the pin last Thursday with delivery confirmation (which the other person insisted on). The pin was delivered on Monday, and DS still has not received a pin in return. I e-mailed the person on Saturday to let her know I sent the pin, no reply. I shouldn't have agreed to trade. DH was really mad when he found out I was going to send a pin to someone with no way to guarantee we would get one back. Of course there could be all sorts of reasons we haven't gotten the pin, but since we're leaving I won't know for 2 more weeks if we've been suckered or not. My fault. We won't do that again.

yikes did you eat? That could have caused your lightheadedness. Advil and tyenol at work then. Percocet and advil at home.
