not too bad..we had a picnic to go to--my brother's team and they are all a great group of guys..plus the moms made sangria !!

Its actually supposed to cool a bit here (mid 80s haha) tomorrow and we should get some thunder storms! glad i have no outside plans tomorrow

Abi will be playing the dulcimer in services tomorrow at my work church and then we will probably head to the water park...season passes are a good thing!!

Tomorrow seems to be a lowkey day here..i want to take a ride and find where my interview is monday--no idea at all! other than that, maybe just watch a few movies and relax!!

Tammi - glad the kiddos made it home, and I'm sure they really do have a better time with you. I probably would have forgotten to tell XDH about the free parking also.

Theresa - you're braver than me with the dentist, I actually have two broken teeth right now so I need to get my but there before I end up in lots of pain. So what are the odds that you will lose more teeth after having partials made or a bridge? Have you considered having them all pulled and dentures? I was on long term antibiotics as a child and have lots of dental work to show for it, now the old dental work keeps falling out or the teeth are breaking.

Instead of giving me roses, my husband took home-sterilized surgical equipment to my c-section incision today!








I have had a heck of a time with 4 spots that keep opening up, and finally we found the culprit of the worst one. The knot at the farthest end won't dissolve still (I'm guessing because it's bulkier), and so my body is totally rejecting it and trying to shove it out.

The solution? Take it out

My OB suggested it, and said I could come in or just have Kyle do it at home. It really wasn't as big a deal as it sounds, but it was a funny picture, to say the least!

Now, I just hope the rest comes out (we couldn't get the whole knot, because the sutures kept breaking... which means they're at least breaking down some!) or dissolves on its on. In the meantime, back to packing and covering the stupid holes until it starts healing again. Fun, no?

Maybe in 6 months I won't feel this pregnancy still?!





We're off to church this morning, for the first time in MONTHS (pre-bedrest). I have a feeling we'll be held up there a while, since our family is now twice as large and the 2 newest members are cuter than us

Poor Mama... I remember being so excited when my girls found their thumbs and loved them!

Good luck, Amy! DS LOVED his pacifier, but I have had several charges that didn't do pacifiers or thumbs.

Wow, slow night in DDA land.

My kids are home and they spent hours talking and telling me about their trip. They had a good time overall, but Nicholas did say that they have a better time when they go with me. He probably just said it because he knows it's what I want to hear. They didn't ride Toy Story Mania because the first day they didn't go to it until after dinner and the stand by line was too long and they were going to Fantasmic, and the second day they again didn't go until late in the day and the FPs were gone. DUH! It's a new attraction for crying out loud. What did he expect. Oh and Nicholas mentioned that it cost his dad $90 for the week for parking expenses. I guess I could have told him that with the kids' APs he could have parked for free.

I'm glad they are home safe and sound!! And really, I am glad they will get to ride TSM for the first time with YOU!

We went to a very lame carnival at a Chick-Fil-A for customer appreciation. Since we were over there anyway we checked another JcPenney out. Better selection!! Got a jacket and shell for myself for $2. Also got a few other things.....getting undergarments for your youngest is a whole lot more heartwrenching than it was for the first.

We will have to return one of the t-shirts from last night....it doesn't fit Abi right See, Elizabeth I told you DS and Abi were alike!!

Yay for new clothes! Boo for having to take stuff back! That really is the story of my life. Of course if I would try stuff on at the store I could avoid some of my return trips.
