I just got home from work. It is too close to my vacation to be working 12 hour days! Time is already going slow enough as it is! But Princess wants to go to Momboss' office on Friday so I will finish a little bit early. I shouldn't complain, as it is paid overtime, I am just ready for Disney.

Princess has decided she wants to go to Disney World. She wants to see Minnie and Cinderella. She says she will not be frightened, she will be happy. Hmm. This is the child who runs screaming in terror if Santa is on the TV. Momboss thinks maybe December 2009 would be a good time to go, so we'll see.

Virginia had her 9 month check up today. she weighs 17lbs 12oz and is 28 1/2 inches tall.

Do any of you listen to the Podcast? There is a thread on that forum talking about WDW taking filet mignon off of the menus. A couple people have asked for the back story, but none of the posts really answer them. Does anybody know what's going on?

I didn't say that I made them correctly I use the recipe for dessert crepes.

1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 tablespoons sugar

Mix it well until all the lumps are gone

I use a large electric griddle and use a measuring cup or ice cream scoop to place the batter onto a hot buttered griddle. I set my griddle to 300 degrees. Once the batter sets up and bubbles in the middle it's time to flip them. Brown to your liking and enjoy with fresh berries, powdered sugar or maple syrup.

Yum! I've copied this recipe and I'm going to try it again! My mom used to make crepes all the time. We'd butter them, then sprinkle them with lemon juice and sugar, roll them up and drizzle maple syrup on them. Oh, the memories!

I am such a gadget geek that I got them all. I have to admit I own a few of them.

So it looks like it will be Friday at Disney and then something fun which has yet to be determined on Saturday. We are meeting some family at Disneyland on Friday. Saturday we are supposed to do something fun with the same family members plus more. Do they not realize Disney is fun??

So who know what we will end up doing. My list of things I would like to do in CA is about 3 pages long. So I will probably end up back there at some point in time.

I gotta get off the laptop and try to fall asleep. Tomorrow I am heading to one of the resident camps, as I have never been there before. I hope the weather stays nice. If not I will deal.

To those that asked if the employee followed procedure, no We are suppose to ask for ID & then put their birth date in the machine that verifies their age. She did ask for ID, but he said he left it outside in his vehicle. Instead of saying "I need you to get that", she just asked for his date of birth. No matter what age someone looks like, if we ask for ID & they do not have it, they do not get served. Had she followed procedure, this would not have happened.

Gary has to work Saturday, so he will not be going to the games this weekend. I am really bummed because I was not looking forward to the drive. They just reopened some of the roads from the flooding, but they are now filled with gravel. I am hearing from those that have traveled on it, that it is single lane & the water is on the edge on both sides.

Riley made me feel like a horrible person yesterday when I mentioned not going & him riding with others. I have this phobia about driving in unfamiliar places, but I will suck it up & go. I really would feel bad not seeing him play. So I will cancel Friday nights hotel reservation & we will just stay Saturday night. I really do hope the roads are better than I am hearing & pray for no rain!
