And this tidbit!

Disney's Animal Kingdom is launching a new Speaker Series just for Passholders beginning 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 18, at Conservation Station. The program is designed to help explain how the Disney Animal Programs and Environmental Initiatives team is working to save wildlife and wild places in our community and around the world. The first talk in the series, called "The Year of the Frog," will be given by Dr. Jackie Ogden, Vice President of Animal Programs; Allyson Atkins, Curator of Animal Programs Education; and Andy Daneault, Curator of Behavioral Husbandry.

that is too cool!! Hopefully they will still be doing it, or something similar, when we get back because I know one kiddo who would absolutely love to listen to this.

I just found out i may be going to baltimore tomorrow night!! There is a firefighters convention, so im pretty excited !

did you hear back from the dr. Jen?? and if so, care to tell us what's up??

Glynis - Good luck to Katie! Sounds like she is on the right track for the reading challenge!
How exciting to have your ultrasound coming up!
Enjoy your time with the kids. What shows are you seeing with them?

We are going to see "Two Gentlemen of Verona," "Fiddler on the Roof," and "Cyrano de Bergerac." I'm really excited to see them.

If you go to this link, you can see clips of the plays we'll be seeing. This is what Alan has been working on for the last few weeks.

He is so handsome!

Just read this in Deb Wills' AllEars.net newsletter:

The Orlando Sentinel also reported that Disney will reduce performances of "Fantasmic!" at Disney's Hollywood Studios to just two nights a week, beginning in January. The finale of the daily "American Idol" competition will take place in that park toward the end of the day, although no other entertainment to replace Fantasmic! has been announced. Magic Kingdom and Epcot will continue to have 7-day nighttime spectaculars, "Wishes" and the "Reflections of Earth" shows respectively.
:sad2: :sad1:

Anne Marie - I agree with you. Seems like lots of things are being cut. Maybe it is Disney's way of keeping the whole shebang going. :sad2:

Chanon and Theresa, thanks for the ideas.

That was the very first thing that came to me, when I saw the picture. I thought nothing else, just said to myself, what an old soul.

 That is EXACTLY what I said to Bob when we looked at the picture!!

Me too! And Bob thought it would be an odd saying to try to explain if no one had ever heard it before. I am glad to see you knew it too, Heidi!

it's what I thought too. You just look into some babies eyes and they are old souls. I have a friend, Peter, he's almost two and he is an old soul.

I grew up with everybody telling me that I was an old soul (until I turned about 25 and decided to have some fun:lmao: )

She called me around 6..
I think i may be getting surgery to get my tonsils out--i needed her to call me to recommend some EMTs so i have to start calling around tomorrow to see how soon i can get an appointment

ditto

I was wondering if that was what it was. I hope you get them out...maybe you'll go a whole winter without needing antibiotics!!:thumbsup2
