Smarty pants!

I have to be sick or exhausted to nap too. Maybe the latter describes you? Take a book in and give it a whirl!!

same with me...if im napping, my family knows im sick..but there are some days (like today) that i wish i could nap!

Ok, I'm off to do some shopping. I HAVE to get my dad a bday present. Have fun everyone!

Deb's Photopass Photos

The SSR photo shoot is toward the end. There are almost 1000 photos on there, though many are duplicates or triplicates. I emailed Photopass and asked them to delete the extras, but they sent me instructions on how to do so. I will have to find time at some point

That link requires a login... :(

instead of napping...looks like I am walking ...Bill and I have walked 30 days straight! so I guess it's better to get it done with

Tammi - Alyssa's video is adorable! She really enjoyed herself. :)

Must not be as hot there as it is here! Enjoy your walk. :goodvibes

Well, shoot...

Looks like Bob and I won't be doing the Sunrise Safari after all. It is offered only on Sundays and Thursdays. We arrive Sunday and Thursday is Christmas Day. For my whole life my family has had a traditional family breakfast that morning, and there is no way I can ask the girls to get up to do that instead. :(

Oh, well... something to look forward to the next time we stay CL at AKL!

I wish you could work in the sunset one....it truly was wonderful

Deb - You really planned the Trip of a Lifetime for your extended family. I hope they all appreciated all your hard work. the pictures are fabulous!

They did appreciate it and have gone out of their way to thank us for all the planning. I'm sure they'll go back in 5 or so years, but the kids will not be little then.

I have spent the last 5 or so hours deleting photos from photopass. I'm almost done, another hour should do it. Then I can start adding borders etc :rotfl: Anyway it should be easier to weed through the photos now.

I hope they have a good day despite the heat. Sounds like it is off to a good start! :goodvibes

Tammi - Glad the kids are keeping in touch! :thumbsup2

Well, suitcase day has come to a rather unceremonious halt. The dryer broke. :headache: I had a load in there, opened the door to see if the things were dry. They were still damp, so I closed the door and hit "start" but nothing happened. Messed with it, nothing happened. DH messed with it. Still nothing. The good news is the dryer belongs to the apartments so THEY have to fix it! The bad news is I don't know how long it will take! :guilty: I will call in the morning and tell them we are trying to get ready to go out of town and we really need the dryer fixed quickly.

I now have an entire load of shorts on hangers across the counter and I have the ceiling fan running to try to dry them. Perfect. :headache:

We love naps around here, but I told DH it will be tricky to nap with 3 suitcases on the bed. I already put my pins in my carry-on. :rolleyes1

I need to go put some more stuff in my big suitcase. I tried to weigh it, but the clearance under the suitcase is higher than my scale, so the suitcase doesn't touch the scale. I tried to put the suitcase on it's side to weigh it, but that didn't work, either.

Mom called. She is doing OK. They told her the first treatment is typically the easiest. I hope she continues to feel OK.

Well! What do you know! The dryer has decided to work again! :cool1:
We think it got too hot and turned itself off. Which makes me wonder why it did that. That has never happened before. So for now it is working, but I am still going to call tomorrow and tell them it was doing something weird today.

I knew I had SOMETHING in common with you!!:rotfl:

Glad your mom is doing okay.

We stand on the scale with and without the offending bag to figure out the weight.
