It was no fun hearing about the plane crash last week, knowing that my daughter (who has been doing a semester abroad in Ecuador) was flying home just a week later from South America- but she arrived safe and sound and has just unpacked her suitcase with lots of treats for everyone.
She had an amazing adventure and we are so glad to have her home!!
It's been a LONG semester - she was gone 17 weeks - but I hope if your college student has the chance to study abroad you will support it. My daughter has seen and done things I would never have imagined - and grown in so many wonderful ways. I'm really proud of her for taking this opportunity - and she speaks fluent Spanish now!!
