DD11 is having a sleepover

I did a sleepover with eight 11 y/o boys last week. I think I got off easy now. They were loud, but not destructive (thank the wii and the nintendo ds) and they were even all asleep by 2 am! They sure ate a lot. I don't think I'd live through a girl sleepover.

I only have two girls, so that's all I know. Because it is not something I've ever done, I would be scared to death of an all boys' sleepover. Aren't they (usually) more rambunctious than girls?

Yep, but I handle that much better! Boys are trauma, girls are drama. Trauma I can handle -- Peyton Place for elementary school, not so much.

This was DD's first year in a public school (middle school - blech). Before that she was in a small Montessori school where the majority of children were boys, so I am used to trauma as well (usually caused by DD - she is scrappy).

Now my older DD was all DRAMA all through school.

Where do you guys find these girls? Most of DD13s birthdays have been slumber parties and I can only think of one time when they were up past midnight and even then they were out by 1:00ish. Never anything broken and only one spill that I can think of. I am going to have to tell DD I love her friends.

DS and his friend stayed up all night ONCE. They were both miserable and miserable to be around the next day. Otherwise the boys are usually out before midnight--they wear each other out running around all afternoon and after dinner plop down in front of a movie and drop like flies
