DD Won't Wear Shorts!

Gosh I'm really pale and I couldn't care less what people think of me, I'd wear shorts all year long if the weather permitted!

My mom use to refuse to wear shorts because of spider veins, I told her what do you think people are walking around staring at your legs? And if they do they have issues so why would you care? She now wears shorts all the time and doesn't worry a bit.

I hope she gets over it fast, it's sad when people are that self conscience about something like that.

At my church, the teenaged girls wear short skirts with bare legs and flip flops, even in winter. When I first saw that, and it was about 30 degrees outside I thought "I'd never let my DDs do that." But then I thought, "It's their legs and feet that will be cold. What do I care?"

I don't like shorts either. But shorts do slightly outrate heatstroke.

Yep DD is like that. She takes her hoodie everywhere with her too!

We're going to WDW for 11 days in Aug. She's gonna have a heat stroke in jeans. I don't care who sees my fat, white legs. I'd rather be comfortable than passed out!

I was like that as a teenager. I remember going to WDW with my father one year and was wearing shorts and took a ride on the monorail. All the legs around me were so brown and I felt embarassed. I then proceeded to use a self tanner. Remember Q-T? That was the only type of tanner out then. It streaked so bad that I had to wear my pants the rest of my trip. I wear shorts now even though I am so pale.

Sense must come with age

I can't beleive I forget I did the same silly things as a teenager. I went to Arlington Cemetary with the family when I was 14/15. It was July and HOT. I'm in all black (including jeans!). My mom just reminded me of this lol
