So. Where is the best place for seafood "on" the dining plan? Or is there such a thing? She loves crab legs. Hubby and I are more shrimp eaters, and fresh fish.
Anny : :bitelip:

Flying fish on the boardwalk is supposed to be really good But it counts as 2 TS points....There is the Coral Reef in Epcot (1 TS now)...but i found it to be mediocore...The cape may clam bake in The yacht club, which is supposed to be good....But ya know im not even sure if any of these even serve crab legs

Cape May offers crab legs for an extra charge. I can't remember how much. The buffet itself is really good too.

My son and I used the dining plan last April. I was able to order crab legs during our dinner at Cape May Cafe. I believe they were $11.00 or $13.00.

With all the other great things on the buffet, we could not finish the crab legs.

Looking forward to returning to Cape May in two months. :woohoo:

Disneyjunkie,
Did they charge you additional, in cash? Or was these applied to the dining card?

I had to pay extra; they were not included with the dining plan.
At the end of the meal I was given two bills, one for the dining plan and one for the crab legs. I also paid an extra tip for the crab legs since they were not included with the plan.

Fultons - at Downtown Disney has the best crab legs in the world (well, they're really, really good).

I'm afraid I don't know if they are on the dining plan - I bet they aren't since they aren't a Disney restaurant.

Fulton's is not on the Dining Plan but since we are going to one Signature Dining which takes 2 TS, we are going to Fulton's on Valentine's Day off the plan -- if MinnieAnn says best crab legs, you may want to consider it. This will be the 1st time for us and I am looking forward to some good shrimp -- and DH will probably go for the crabcakes --
There are a couple DOWNTOWN DISNEY restaurants that are DP -- but not Fulton's

I agree Fulton's for crab legs. But they are not on the plan.

I don't eat them but DD says the Alaska King crab at Fulton's are the best.
:hippie: Susan :hippie:

Captain Jack's has the best crab legs. And they serve them split open already. Fulton's are overpriced with a small serving. JMHO.

How many crab legs do you get, is it enough to share?

The best crab legs ar at Fulton's (Alaskan king crab legs, King Crab Claws, the Snow Crab, Dungeoness Crab, all very, very good!!) The fried shrimp there is really good as well. Fulton's is not on the plan though. Cape May Cafe does have the add on and the legs are good as well, but are extra.

SnwflkCts..the crab cakes at Fulton's are N.A.S.T.Y.! My DH and his family love a great crab cake from Va and MD, but they are absolutely nothing like the ones up here. They were like hockey pucks. They are also made with Dungoness crabs..I really wouldn't suggest them at all.

I believe an order is one pound. My son and I shared them. However, we were not able to finish them because we ate too many clams!! :lmao:

PBHarris - Thanks for info on crabcakes. Coming from MD (and VA) where we get pretty good crabcakes -- it sounds like I need to convince my DH to get something else. Can't wait - just under a week and I will get to eat some of all this good food I am only READING about!!

Have a great trip! Just wanted to mention also that there's a Crab House at the shopping center across from Hotel PLaza Blvd gate and they also have crab legs (snow crab and dungeoness) and are cheaper than Fulton's. It's a regular chain restaurant (they also own Joe's Crab Shack and Landry's Seafood which are also in Orlando). It's not as nice as Fulton's though. You could see if they have a crab cake on the appetizer list and try it first to see if he likes it. I don't think he will though. Have loads of fun!!! Don't forget to take pictures for the Food Porn thread!! :)
