I have an old child's PH ticket, good forever (ahhh, the good old days!), from a trip about three years ago, that still has one day left on it. DD is over the age limit for this ticket, even though I bought it for her originally! Can she "slide through" on this? What happens if you get caught? I'd cash it in towards a new ticket but you have to upgrade (i.e., get something "more" than nonexpiring park hopper...what IS there, AP???) and I can't afford this. I hate to lose the value of this ticket.

If the ticket was purchased and used by her than the ticket is still good for her. I believe that you can go to Guest Relations and they'll trade it in for the equivalent. You wont have to pay anything extra.

That's correct. We did this in February with our DD. We went to guest relations in Epcot and they gave us an adult PHP for her child's ticket (we still had one park day and three plusses left). I was pretty sure there was no fee, but I asked if we owed anything and the CM said, "No fee. Disney doesn't charge your kids for growing up."

I would go to guest relations and not try to slide through.

I would think they would work with you and not charge. You've already paid for the ticket. If they say no, ask to speak to a manager or someone. Good luck!

The most you would be charged is for the upgrade from child to junior or junior to adult. On a 1993 trip, they charged us 1986 prices to upgrade a 1986 junior ticket to an adult ticket.
