DD to GF

We are staying at the GF in Dec. and I wanted to know how will my boys get from DQ to the GF if the TTC is closed? Is there a direct bus? Thanks!

The DD busses operate until the wee hours of the morning. The Transportation Guide lists the route as DD to TTC and then the resort monorail from there.

That's what I was wondering about. If they stay until DQ closes at midnight, won't the monorail be closed? Is there a direct bus to the GF in that case?

There will ALLWAYS be transport from DD to the resort Hotels up to an hour after DD closes. Your son will be able to get back up to around 2am, by bus direct to Grand Floridian even if Monorail has closed.

It is not Disney's policy to do anything that would make it difficult to spend money.

DQ closes at midnight, the monorail runs until 2:00am. So your kids can take the bus from PI--it's across the street from Planet Hollywood (the bus no longer runs to the west side stop!) to the TTC and then grab the monorail. The busses run every 15 minutes or so, so even if they just miss one, they should be back by 1:00am at the very latest.
