DD made DH teary eyed.

DD13 wrote this poem for DH in celebration of Father's Day.
DH has been part of our family since DD was 9.


My Dad

My dad is very special.
I know yours is too;
but mine is a very special dad,
there are very few.

He cares about me always.
He helps me with things.
And whenever I ask,
he even pushes me on swings.

He cares for me
when I am sad.
Sometimes though,
he does make me mad.

I know he isn't my blood,
but it feels like it is true.
He is the best of all.
Stepdad, I love you!
