DD just called home from WDW and said it....

is so Cold there this morning! They where on a shuttle heading to The Magic Kingdom! Her friends have never been to WDW, they are excited! I told DD to buy a nice heavy warm sweatshirt with a hood on it and some gloves! Hey they are young, and I told her they will have a blast!

So there you have it, It is Cold at The World!

I wish I could send her my ear warmers. I bought some black ones...the ones that are kind of like head bands...and ironed on Disney patches for all 8 of us when we went. When your ears are warm, the rest of you stays warm

It is only going to be in the 50's today but then it starts to warm up. In the 60's tomorrow, 70's during the week.

I actually had to turn my furnace on this morning to take the chill off the house.

Yes it sometimes does get cold here but thankfully it doesn't last long.

I had a friend in Disneyland last week who complained it was so COLD (it was 60)

I had to tease her about that since I was in 20's and snow flurries.

But, I guess 60 is cold for southern California!

There is nothing more miserable than being at WDW when it's cold!

We were there for New Year's Eve (I think it was 2001/2002). It was so cold there was ice on the ground at Epcot. It was horrible. Heavy sweatshirts just don't cut it and there wasn't a coat or jacket to be found! I can honestly say that I have never been that cold in my life (and we live in New England!)and I never want to experience it again!

We've not been back in late December or January since.

I looked up the temperature in orlando on accuweather, The low for tonight in Florida is two degrees warmer than our low for tonight in Chicago. I would much rather be in wdw then here, but I would be so upset to actually have to turn on the heat in the hotel room.

I got home from work Reeaaaalllllly late last night, and wondered what was on several neighbors lawns. They'd wrapped their bushes against the cold!

One of the coldest trips we ever made was to WDW a week after New Years. We trudged around Epcot for several hours until we were just miserable. It was 32 degrees and snow was flying In Orlando!!

I would LOVE to be at the parks when it was cold! I am much hardier in the chilly temps than in say, August.
