DD is now taking ressies for 1900 Park Fare

Any word on the b-fast at 1900? Is it still Mary Poppins?

Something tell me that this dinner w/ Cindy is the new hot ticket. With the outrageous prices at CRT - I can see this taking its place.

This past July we spent $200 for b-fast at the Castle - now we can say "we did it" and that we will NEVER do it again.

The cast member I spoke to said the breakfast would be the same as before. Only the evening meal changed as far as characters are concerned.

How are the dinner characters different?
Dinner used to be Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, and the mice Suzy and Perla. Now it's the stepmother and stepsisters in place of the mice and FGM.

Well I just called and they said that yes the 1900 is open and that if you had reservations for the Grand Floridian that they did just transfer all the ressies over.. so I guess I will see what happens when I get there.. I certainly hope their is no mix up since this is the meal that dd wants the most

I called at 7am this morning to talk to a CM. She told me that she didn't see where it would just switch over to Park Fare. And she was asking me if she could try another place. I told her no. That the ressies had been made 5 months ago to be with Cinderella. She put me on hold to talk to a senior CM. I was on old for what seemed like forever. But woo hoo to Disney:cheer2: , they came through and gave me a new ressie # for the Park Fare. She told me that they were calling people to let them know about the change, but since our trip is so soon, somehow we missed out on a call.

Good luck to those who are still trying to make reservations.

Do you know if there is someone out in the lobby the way that the Fairy Godmother used to hang out there?

Thanks so much.

I tried to call today just to see on the off chance if we could get a reservation for dinner for one of the nights that we are there next week for a day that we didn't have a dinner scheduled and they are fully booked. We thought it would be fun to have a meal with the stepsisters, but oh well. I knew it was a long shot!! We are having breakfast there though. I love that restaurant!

I've been calling hoping that someone will want to cancel because they don't like the stepsisters, but no luck so far.

Does anyone know if 1900 Park Fare is bigger than before and all newly designed? The setup was a bit tight before I thought. Its one of our favorite restaurants!

I posted this in another thread last week. WE had reservations for lunch on the 30th for Coral Reef. We thought it looked like a fun place, but we could only get it for lunch, since we had a party of 6. After finding this forum and reading CR's reviews, we decided this was not a good idea. Called GF to change this ADR, and CM Denny just happened upon a table for 6 a 6:10pm on 9/30, and told me it was becasue they had just gotten word it was to reopen 2 weeks early! Looking forward to this!!

I previously made ressies for Oct. 19 (back in april) for 1900. I actually didn't even know it was being refurbished or anything was being changed, will my ressie stay the same? Or do I need to rebook now? TIA
