I have just dropped Lucy off at school for a one off afternoon session as she starts in September. It really brought a tear to my eye when i had to leave her :guilty: yet i leave her at nursery all the time. She looked so small. When i got back I had a few tears and DH laughed at me saying it was only for the afternoon, what will i be like on the 5th september. The only way to keep my mind occupied is to come on here and talk Disney :cheer2:

i know how you feel, my ds starts school in september.
we are actually on hols now and they go back 31st august ( i will probably be insane by then)

I dont have any children but I do cry whenever I leave my dog at the boarding kennels!

aww I know how you feel...its seems like only yesterday day I was doing that...my eldest has now left school and working full time:eek:
Where do the years go;)

She will be fine Michelle!

I think sometimes it is harder for us mums than it is for the children!

Aww Bless

I was the same when Chelsea started Thankfully when I was sobbing my heart out at the classroom door (thinking I am a nutter) I wasnt many other mothers was the same :)

Hope she had a great time :goodvibes

When we went to pick her up she hadn't been very well. We took her temp when we got home and it was 39.8, her body was so hot. Gave her calpol and an hour later nurofen and she had a sleep. When i went to check on her 20 minutes later she was soaking. We have taken her to the docters and he has said its a viral infection and just to keep up with the medicines. So she didn't enjoy her afternoon at school.

Absolutely Karen

We fret a lot more than the kids, mine are 14 and 12 now and I still worry.

I hope that Lucy is feeling better soon, sending some pixie dust to her :wizard: (and I think you should have some too :wizard: :grouphug: )
