My dd has her first wobbly tooth, she is only 5, so wondering if this is a bit too early, what age did your children get there first wobbly tooth?

Don't panic, it's perfectly normal:) My youngest dd's first tooth came out between the ages of 5 and 6. ;)

Very normal its about the right age,Chelsea was 6 or maybe before when she started losing her's shes lost quite alot now,and some have regrown and shes now 7 nearly 8.
So its normal.:goodvibes

Hope the tooth fairy visits and leaves something very nice :thumbsup2

Casey started to lose hers at seven. She lost three at once and now she has just lost two more. I think she has one more. For a while she was gappy. Some children lose them earlier.

Hi

My Lucy is definitely too young to have teeth falling out yet (she is only 18 months old!), but your question reminded me of my husband - NONE of his baby teeth fell out naturally. The adult teeth would start growing behind the baby teeth, but the baby teeth just wouldn't fall out. So he had to have each and every one of his baby teeth extracted by a dentist. :sad1:

So, when Lucy's baby teeth do begin to drop out (hopefully by themselves), I will take a big sigh of relief - I hope that she doesn;t get her father's teeth genetics! :sad2:

Amber's first tooth fell out in January so she was just over six. She's lost another one since then. I got her a gorgeous tooth fairy pillow on EBay with Flora/Fauna and Merryweather on.

my son is 7 and one of the last in his class to lose those front teeth. His front top one fell out last week and he looks horrid now! its sooo not pretty ;)

Yes, it sounds about right to me too - Does she know about the tooth fairy yet ?

My DD's lost their's about that age too but some of their friends lost them as young as 3 so don't worry!

My eldest DD lost her tooth aged 4.5 in Florida :thumbsup2 we were waiting for the bus to come along, after Illuminations and it just came out, a very kind american family from Virginia gave her a dollar.

She remember this always princess:

she defiently knows about the tooth fairy, she ran around the house shouting "I am going to get a big shiny coin":rotfl2: , she is thrilled with her loose tooth.

I've just remembered how my DD lost her first tooth in a corn on the cob, she looked and said oooh they're's a stone in my corn but it was her tooth :rotfl2: So watch what she eats!

This is exactly what happened to my daughter Vicki, Alice, she was 8 when she had to have all of her baby teeth removed in hospital as her adult teeth were starting to grow down on top of them.

Your poor daughter - sounds horrible :(

Oh well, at least I know that my husband isn't the only person in the world to go through it - very odd, isn't it?

My eldest has only just turned 6, and she has her 6th wobbly tooth at the moment. She lost her first around 5yrs 2 months in the food court at Mall at Milenia (some of you may recall she swallowed it and I had the task for the next two days of "looking" for it....groan).
Her school friend has her first wobbly tooth now, she is 6 in July.

about £1 round here although my DH and some other nurses where he works have been known to tell the kids that "hospital teeth " are special and worth a fiver:scared1: Gill

I'm glad I read this thread our DS is 7 and a half and not a single tooth is showing signs of falling out yet!!;) He has had to see the dentist every few months to have a temporary coating on his teeth to stop pain, his teeth are very clean he's just worn them right down
We are hoping that the adult teeth will come through after we've been to Florida but knowing our luck he'll lose one just before we go leaving a nice big gap.
