DD and other Noise at SSR

Just a quick post on this. It was weird, but there were certain spots outside where you could hear the bands playing at DD. I did not mind this at all, not sure if it would bother people or not.

While we were in the quiet pool, the resort had music going (smooth jazz) and you really could not hear DD much from the pool area, at least that was my impression. And there were so few people there that it was not due to any noise at the pool other than the music.

I cannot speak for the rooms as ours did not face DD. But we did not hear anything.

I was surprised a bit as sometimes we heard the neighbors toilets flushing. Nothing was really obnoxiuos as we had very considerate neighbors, but I wondered if we had a group of partiers staying in the next room, there might have been potential for it to get loud. We had no problems or issues with any noise.

Do you think the soundproofing is any different than in other villas? I've heard that interior-to-exterior soundproofing has been beefed up to block out DD sound. But are you telling us that interior-to-interior soundproofing is different?

There was another post at the Trip Forums about the loud noise of the neighbors from ABOVE at the WLV. I asked if they thought it was from poor construction or from obnoxious rabble-rousers and they have not posted back yet.

I stay in hotels all the time so I am used to hearing others around me. It's a RARE occasion that I don't hear noise from neighbors. I think it's pretty tough eliminate it all.
