Walked right into Skipper at 4:30 for a light meal on Saturday 19th. My daughter and I shared the pho noodle bowl with chicken, the bread and honey, Schweitzer slush and the pineapple cake. We have both eaten pho before. It was a little spicier than I was prefer, but we both enjoyed it. The bread was good. DD described the honey as being Pooh with a bit of Tigger. It was mixed with something unusual. We adored the slush with the apple drops and the coconut pineapple cake. I found the portions to be reasonable. DD9 and 5 foot 150 pound me split the food. We were in the mood for a light early meal. Perhaps a hungry full grown man would want more. But this is not the place I would chose for calorie loading anyway. The decor was really cool and detailed. I hope they keep the menu and do not have to homogenize it like I feel they did at BOG.

oh ..wow...thank you for the review..it sounds like a place we may want to visit ...thanks again

So do all guest get a free order of bread before their meal or was this just with the Pho? thanks

All meals come with the bread and honey. It is a good size circle, nice for two people to split. I like the favor profiles that Skipper presents. But if you like traditional American flavor combinations, then Skippers is likely not for you.

Thanks, looking forward to trying. I like eating food from all different Cultures, where I live we have many different types of food, with traditional American fare to be the least.
