DD and I did the My Disney Princess Tea-LOVED IT! Any questions, just ask

We had a wonderful mommy and daughter time at the tea. Anyone that can do the tea, don't 2nd guess the $$. It was well worth it for a one time memory. It was precious. DD got picked to help Rose Petal out doing a sign language part of a song. Alot of personal attention and it was just sooooooooo special. I have some pics. Will share soon

I'm so glad you enjoyed it My dd and I are planning on going in January. Sleeping Beauty is her favorite princess and I hear Rose is wonderful! Only thing I heard the food was really bad. What did you think?

They greet your little princess with her royal invitation basically and then you wait to be seated. Rose Petal makes her appearance to start everything off. Then, each little girl waits her turn to be greeted by Rose Petal and she places a tiara to match your dd outfit and then sprinkles real rose petals on her and she poses with your dd for a quick shot and then you go to your assigned seats. The little My Disney Doll dressed in Sleeping Beauty's outfit is awaiting your dd. They pour dd apple juice for tea and then grownup tea. The kids plate is pb & j heart shaped sandwiches and I think turkey, ham and cheese and grapes. Big people plate is egg salad, cheeses, I think chicken salad, grapes and these little pretzel sesame like chips. Rose Petal sings and Miss Leaf plays the piano and Rose sings different songs. She is a BEAUTIFUL singer and interacts with everyone. The girls unwrap their napkins to find a cute little bracelet with a heart charm on it. Sleeping Beauty arrives and she dances with the girls and then comes to each table to sign autographs and take pictures and present each girl with a real rose which was beautiful. They serve a DELICIOUS strawberry cake and then it kind of winds down. DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY. IT WAS AN EXPERIENCE that DD and I will cherish FOREVER.

The food was just fine. I didn't like one of the cheeses and maybe 1 kind of the sandwiches but everything else was fine and it is just a tea with a very light lunch. I wasn't going into it expecting a lavish spread but for the experience of a fancy little tea to be enjoyed by a grownup (me) and a child, (my dd) and it was everything I had wished for.

When I said the food was just fine, I didn't mean to imply, just fine, meaning so/so but rather perfectly fine, acceptable. It wasn't bad at all. It was a perfect little snack/lite lunch/tea affair.

Glad to hear you had a great time! DD and I are going on 10/15 I do have a question about the doll, I think I read somewhere that you could by extra clothes for the doll in the GF gift shop, did you make it over there? Just curious what they have, my DD loves dressing her Bitty Baby and American Girl Doll, I would love to get her some extras, especially since I told DH that the doll would be her main souviner from the trip.

don't know if they still do this, it has been about 3 years since we first went. They offered any and as many of the little princess doll outfits for 50% off after this tea.

We also had 3 people in attendance. You pay a smaller fee for 3rd person, but I can't remember what it was.

Thanks for your review. I'm taking my dd 6 next month. I do have a question. My dd will not eat PBJ. My TA said I can not make a request since she is not allergic before we go. Do you think they would omit it if I ask when we arrrive?
