DD 6th Birthday. Where's the best celebration?

I just reserved a week inJanuary for my DD 6th birthday, and I am trying to decide where to go for her birthday dinner celebration. What are your recommendations for the best birthday party at WDW?

If it is her first trip to Disney, I would say the castle at MK! I would also suggest Chef Mickey's or the Grand Floridian. I would say pick her fav character and go from there! Be sure to get her a button or shirt that tells everyone she is the birthday girl.

It is her second trip. Want to do princesses agian b4 she out grows them. We were at the castle for lunch on out last trip, and everything seemed so rushed. Will they have time to make a big deal for her? Has anybody experienced birthday at the castle or anywhere else? What did they do?

We have had lunch and dinner at CRT for DD birthday. She was thrilled to be in the castle, but they did not really make a big deal over her at all.
Honestly, I think so many people are having birthdays in WDW, the restaurants are happy to give you the cupcake, etc.. but they really do not over celebrate with you. We also are going for DD's 8th this January and she chose Le Cellier.

There is no guarantee any restaurant will make a big fuss over a birthday. It is hit or miss depending on the CM, how busy they are, etc. If you are counting on something special for your DD, I would suggest you pick a place and order a cake, etc.

I'd pick 1900 Park Fare. It has Cinderella, Prince Charming and the Step Sisters and Step Mother.

My niece last year received a placemat and crown. She also would have received a cupcake but she can't eat it as it contains dairy. The CM still put it in front of her and had her blow it out-I was shocked (I would never stick a dessert in front of a child that can't eat it)
