So I have a phone interview on Wednesday and I want this more than I've ever wanted anything. I've worked at McDonalds for four years and I want to work at a place where I can partake in making peoples dreams come true, I want this experience. But my mom is seriously on the fence, she wants me on a four year college plan, I'm a junior in TV Production, she wants me to be able to take the courses I need and have an internship in my field. I don't know what to do, I feel like I'm too worried about my parents approval of the program. But the truth is I don't know what video/film related classes I could take there, is there any? I personally would be fine without because I know once I've worked there I can apply for professional internships, but my parents just don't seem to understand. Any advice?

I had QSFB job but I shadowed & networked while I was there in a dept I was interested in. Anything is possible :)

My daughter used a semester as a CP as internship credits and graduated in 4 years from a very competitive school. Disney (in any job capacity) is a gem on your resume. She's in her second program and waiting to hear about PI and MI applications. Networking and talking to every manager and coordinator is the key; they all have gone out of their way to introduce her to people that can help her move on. Been a great experience for her.
