I read that you had eaten at Motown. I am very curious about this! I wasnt aware they had food so never even visited any time we were there. What was the menu like? What did you eat? Did you enjoy it? Would this be okay to take small kids to?
Thanks for any info:)

It was very good - my DH and I both had crispy chicken salad (excellent - hearts of palm really added a lot to it!), one DS had a cheeseburger and straw. shortcake for dessert (11 yo), the other had BBQ ribs and a hot fudge sundae cake thing for dessert (15 yo). Of course, we all shared the desserts! All of the food was excellent. We ate upstairs, although I'm pretty sure you can eat downstairs too. We sat at a table adjacent to the balcony, so we could look down at the people playing pool below. Music was popular Mowtown - it was a little slow, so the waiters were dancing along with the music - that was pretty entertaining!

I don't know if they had a kid's menu, although I'd think they would. It was pretty laid back - not formal at all - so I think young kids would enjoy it.

Thanks dcookies! Instead of Hard Rock we will try here this trip. So long as they offer foods like burgers and ribs I'm sure we can find something for the kids. I love these boards you are all so helpful:) Did you eat anywhere else that you really enjoyed?

Thank you again.

Our favorite place was Hard Rock cafe - went for lunch the Friday before we left. If we'd known how much we would like it, we would have gone earlier and more often. Next best for food was Motown. We also went to Margaritaville - the food was ok, but the margaritas and atmosphere were great!

We also had a few meals on I-drive (Red Lobster, Perkins), which were nothing special. I don't remember the name of the places we ate in the parks, but they were the basic burger/fries places.

Thank you. We did Hard Rock a few times and have one local so I think I will give the rest a shot this trip.
