Hi everyone I was just wondering how some of you booked your DCL trip? I was wondering if it's better to book through DCL themselves or the company that's advertised on here Dreams Unlimited Travel. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I have always booked through Disney then transferred my reservation to Dreams at a later date.

Part of our honeymoon was on the DCL and we booked through another Disney travel agent Small World Vacations. We got some kind of bonus OBC for booking with them. We kind of like just doing it ourselves through Disney now that we have a few trips under our belts.

Mrs B you and I are like twins I was just thinking the exact same question! I got a quote though dreams and i did an online quote though Disney and was wondering who i was going to book with.

I like to call it free money that the travel agent gives you for booking with them. It will be on your shipboard account when you get there! You can use it for whatever you want. I usually use it for our tips.

Thank you so much everyone for your advice. I got a quote from Dreams Unlimited and I think I might go with them. They're offering more on board credits than DCL.

Well when I did the quote on DCL they said they offered $25 OBC and I think either another $25 or $50 if you pay with your Disney Visa. For Dreams unlimited there's a link on these forums. But depending on the cruise they give you a certain amount for the OBC plus $50 if you pay with your Disney Visa. HTH
