Okay, my kids are always doing word problems. Here's my 'word problem' as it relates to DCL.

Scott has a back to back cruise booked that was booked on board their last cruise. He received a Discounted Fare for the front end of the cruise (a 4 night) and the standard fare for the back end. Scott is planning to cancel his 2nd reservation and move the first reservation to a cruise in early 2019. Can Scott move the Discount to the new reservation AND if he added a 2nd room would the Discount apply to both rooms?

What if the 2 rooms are occupied by the same 4 guests from the original back to back cruise?

Please double check your work :)

Scott can move the reservation to a different cruise and still get the onboard booking perks. For the one room. Onboard booking perks are only applicable on however many reservations were originally made onboard for a future cruise.

In order to receive an onboard booking discount for two rooms there must have been two reservations made onboard for the same future cruise.

I agree with PrincessShmoo, but in double checking her work would like to add that you would only get the onboard booking discount for the one room if you book a new cruise that travels within 24 months of the time in which you booked the original placeholder.

OH, and I'll add the discount will only apply IF the cruise taken is begun within the 24 month window that opened when the original reservation was made onboard.

EDIT: then I read formyboys answer. :goodvibes

Nice Work! I give your reply a 100%! :)

I am not smart. I should always just book a couple of rooms when on board for flexibility. Oh well, lesson learned.
