DCL Wish 11/2026 Transfer

I was about to transfer to Costco but they are telling me DCL won't release/transfer the reservation unless it's within 30 days of the booking. Is that correct? RCCL is BEFORE final payment so I guess I made an assumption.

That's correct. DCL cruises can only be transferred within 30 days of initial booking.

Ugh. I can transfer to another booking and maintain the 10% but I keep same reservation and can't transfer it. I am gonna get yelled at from the wifey but I will bring up Destiny out of FLL is an 'upgrade' possibility. Depending on the broker discount, it might make sense to cancel (lose 10%) and rebook.

For a placeholder you can only transfer within 30 days of when you were onboard and made the deposit for the placeholder -- even if it hasn't been "booked" to a specific future sailing yet.

You can modify a placeholder reservation and retain the 10% discount as long as the embark date is within the original 24 months. If you want the Costco cash card, you'll have to crunch the numbers to see if it's worth losing the 10% discount.

Destiny leaves out of FLL on 11/2 for $1500 more. I'd have to transfer back to Disney (we do WDW before/after cruise). Decisions Decisions.
