We have been on the Magic twice. Would love to go again but each time I start to price it -- the $$ signs really aren't in the budget.

I have heard some other lines are less expensive.
Anyone been on a different cruise line and have pros or cons about thier accessibility compared to Disney?

Next July I'm taking my 2 DD's (both in wheelchairs) on a Princess Alaskan cruise. So I'll let you know how it is next year.

I know someone who went on one of those Alaska cruises 10 years ago. It sounded really neat and she said the scenery was breathtaking. Have fun!

We love cruising, and I think that you'll find accessability might vary ship to ship more than line to line. I've seen wheelchairs on NCL and Princess, and I think you'd do well to talk to a TA who is a cruise specialist. Another posting board that might be very helpful is www.cruisecritic.com. My guess is that although older ships are accessible, the newer vessels are probably better equiped to accomodate special needs.
