DCL transportation ??

Hello!! I just received a email confirming my DCL transportation time. I was given instructions to meet DCL rep BY 11am for transportation to cruise port. Is this a good time? Should my family be on board a little earlier than if I was to of booked a Port arrival time on my own? I am a Silver member… not sure if that matters for the answer.

My second question is … if we arrive at the airport earlier is there a chance we can get on the transportation earlier?? Asking as not sure if By 11 means we can show up any time earlier.

Are you taking the DCL transfer from the airport? Or from a DCL resort?

Ok. Sorry, I haven't taken transfers from Ft Lauderdale. I will point out, if Disney has given you a specific time, that's probably the time you should be there.

If says “By 11am”. Go to the rep area on arrival & check in. Should already have a boarding number. They will coordinate your transportation.

What is your boarding group? That is what really matters, as that dictates what time you'll get on the ship (or at least, where in the order you'll board once they start boarding). When you take DCL transportation from WDW resorts now your PAT is listed as 12:30 (at least ours was twice this year) but we had boarding group 5. The PAT was just a placeholder, we were allowed to enter the terminal as soon as our bus arrived even though it was well before 12:30. I can't speak to how it's done from FLL as I've never done that.

Also, FLL is very close to the port, so meeting at 11am may not be as 'late' as you're thinking.
