Hoping to hear from those who have debarked in Galveston and used DCL transfers back to IAH. I made a mistake and booked 9 of us on flights leaving at noon, and now I just learned they recommend no earlier than 12:30 pm. I looked at changing the flights, but it would be a significant increase in both price and time spent traveling. So now I'm looking for experiences in using Express Walk Off and how early the shuttles run to the airport.
In our favor, the good news is we debark on Monday Nov 25th and Houston schools are not in session that day. We're also flying Delta out of Terminal A, and I think that means we will be dropped off first at the airport.
Any experiences about when the shuttle left the port, arrived at the airport, whether it dropped off at Terminal A first, etc. would be greatly appreciated. We do have travel insurance that covers weather, traffic, other items outside our control. Thanks in advance!
