DCL Transfers

Do DCL transfers have to be reserved ahead of time, or can you show up at the airport and book them then? How about the return trip, can you book them once you are on the ship?

Friends are going down next week, and have reserved a car service. But, they are nervous about what will happen of the car doesn't show. I've always done transfers ahead of time, so wasn't sure if you could do it same day.

I believe that they must be booked ahead of time via DCL. I'm not sure what they can do if their car doesn't show up. They would probably have to find the DCL rep who is gathering folks for the transfer. Won't help them if the transfer bus has already left.

Yes, you can just show up and pay for the transport at the airport. But, if you're doing that, I'd suggest you try to be there for the earlier buses. Later they may fill up with pre-paid people.

Onboard, you can add the transfers (not sure, but I think you might have to do it a couple of days out).

Thanks, Shmoo. I think they'll be fine with the car service, but it's nice to know there's a back-up plan.
