My daughter read elsewhere that there is an issue of DCL transfers being canceled when someone flying in the day before or earlier enters their flight info during online check in.

Has anyone experienced this?

Nope but you dont need to input the flight info while checking in if you are arriving the night before and it makes you nervous. Select driving and keep going

You can purchase DCL transfers from the airport to a hotel booked through DCL the day prior. :)
No. DCL does not transfer from MCO to WDW. You will need your own transportation set up from the airport to WDW hotel. If you are staying at a non WDW hotel (assuming it's not the MCO Hyatt which is literally in the airport), the hotel itself might provide transportation back and forth to the airport.

DCL provides the following transportation option in Orlando prior to sailing:
From WDW Resort Hotels to Port Canaveral
From MCO Hyatt Hottel to Port Canaveral
From MCO (Airport) to Port Canaveral

And the following option post sailing:
From Port Canaveral to Airport
From Port Canaveral to WDW Resort Hotels

There is no DCL transportation from the airport to WDW resorts. WDW used to have Magical Express but that has been gone since covid and was never connected to DCL.

It is correct that in the Orlando area, Disney Cruise does not provide transportation from the airport to hotels. However, some Disney Cruises leave from ports other than Port Canaveral, and DCL also offers booking services for hotels in the general areas of those ports or nearby airports.

Although I haven’t used it, it is feasible that DCL offers transportation from airports to hotels, particularly in Europe where many guests coming from the US arrive the day before the cruise.

Yes you are correct- DCL provided transportation from the airport to the hotel in San Juan too.

I was looking at their signature that showed their up coming sailings out of PC (& FLL but DCL also does not provide transportation to the partner hotels there either). It seems for select ports DCL will provide transportation from the airport to the hotel but not in FL at this time

I never said that DCL provides transfers to WDW Resorts, or that my question was pertaining to our upcoming cruises.

We have previously booked DCL airport to hotel transfers in New Orleans, Galveston, and San Diego. Also port to hotel post cruise in San Diego. I know that they no longer offer airport to hotel transfers in Galveston.

I will need to contact our DU TA because she said DCL does offer airport to hotel for FLL but it's not available for booking 12/2026 yet.

From the DCL site -
Pre- and Post-Cruise Hotel Stays and Transportation

If you've booked a hotel stay with us before or after your cruise, transfers are available (for an additional fee) between the airport, hotel and cruise port. Call us at (800) 951-3532 for more information or to add these transfers.

Upon arrival at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, go directly to baggage claim to pick up your luggage. A Disney Cruise Line representative will be available outside the baggage claim area to direct you to your designated transportation. Transportation may include a motorcoach, minibus or taxi, depending on arrival time and party size.

Unsure what the concern is, if during check in DCL transfers are accidentally cancelled you (or your TA) would call and have it fixed since it would be clear by your BG on your port arrival form. Its not likely to be an issue but if it is it is easily fixed.

Except people reported that they were not able to have the transfers added back on.

Which is why I was wondering if anyone here had experienced it firsthand.

This happened to me 2 weeks ago.
We booked a last minute cruise for this Saturday and added transfers. We are staying at MCO Hyatt night before and entered all flight info. Next day I see a -$90 balance. Waited a day or two and it was still there when I logged in. Husband called DCL and was told that our transfers were cancelled and that is why it was showing a -$90 balance. The CM on the phone was able to add them back on later that day for us.

Yes, it happens. The issue is you are not flying in the day the cruise departs, so you only need to input your arrival flight information if arriving the same day. If you are staying at the Hyatt, you need to contact DCL and have them note your reservation for this.

So weird though bc we have been on almost 20 Disney Cruises and I have always entered my online check-in flight the exact same way and we have never had any transfers cancelled. Anyway-it’s all good! Transfers added back in and yes, Hyatt note added to reservation. 😊 Looking forward to another fabulous week on DCL!!

The transfers for my parents disappeared when I was doing check-in last week. These transfers were from the port back to the airport. We also have the transfers from Art of Animation to port, but those were unaffected.

I had completed check-in for them and when I had gone back to see if their info was approved, after I received notification that mine was approved, I saw that the transfers had disappeared and I thought it was because their flight home was showing as being in the AM rather than PM, effectively throwing off the system since the flight said it was departing before we were able to get off the ship.

My sister then got an email stating that it seemed like their transportation had fallen off and there was a refund issued to the card. I just called today and was able to get the transfers put back on with no issue. I thought it was strange since this only happened to their room and no one else's and contributed it to me putting in the wrong thing for the flight since I was checking in 3 different staterooms, but maybe it was just a glitch on their end, although ours disappeared for after the cruise, not before.
