Did anyone else get the recent survey about the proposed new restaurants for DCL? Just got it this morning. Asked lots of questions about 8 different new themed dining choices.

1) Mary poppins theme
2) Mickey and Minnie garden party
3) ceiling changes - daytime blue to stars
4) quantum core demonstration gone wrong
5) drawing own character and watch come to life
6) Alice in wonderland
7) live musicians playing Disney music
8) Pooh and piglet

Interesting survey. Seems DCL is looking to change up dinner!

Yes I got that survey and a prior survey about our recent cruise experience.

It is interesting to see them ask. I wonder if this is for the Treasure and the other ship in the new class vs a rethemeing of current existing ships?

I really hope it’s not to re theme EG as I love it as it is. personally I don’t need entertaining over my evening meal and enjoy the time to just eat, in fact I found it quite distracting from eating (we all know food doesn’t come out really hot at it is) at Arendelle on the Wish with the constant performance, it felt a lot more continuous than at animators, Rapunzels & Tianas

Totally. I don't mind a little character walk-through, but the full on "show experience" while dining is just adds to the already noisy environment. I can't get out of the dining room fast enough because of the excessive noise.

I actually am hoping for a re-theme of Enchanted Garden. I kind of found the overall dining experience on the Dream a little repetitive so some variety with a show to go along with it might help liven things up.

I did suspect they were going for a re-theme and noted in the survey if you're doing that with Mary Poppins, drop the penguins or band because it's going to crowd the already existing restaurant and pull focus from the feature characters.

Alternatively, I would accept a walk through as well. Just something to change things up really.

I’d love a stronger theme in Enchanted garden but leave the menu alone- it’s my favorite I don’t really want a arendelle or marvel but something between that and it’s current state would be fun..

To be clear, four of those "new themed dining choices" already exist (3, 4, 5, 7). So, what was the actual question? They might just be trying to figure out how knowledgeable you are about the existing ships.

They wanted you to rate which of the themes are more appealing. Listing pros and cons of each theme. They also wanted to know if you liked theme dining, or prefer a quieter dinner with just your family.

Not sure why they would send a survey to figure out how knowledgeable people are about their ships. And if so, they need to send it to silver cruisers. Not platinum cruisers.

As someone who took the survey, digests a lot of Disney content, and only silver I think it could be an effective way to both guage interest and see how much knowledge various Castaway Club levels have. I was definitely sitting there wondering why they were asking about existing shows/theming.

Probably to gauge whether people are more interested in the proposed changes than they are in the existing options.

I agree with others, with the exception of a couple all of these really seem geared towards Enchanted Gardens on the Dream/Fantasy. Doubtful they're considering it for the Treasure as all the plans for that really should be set in stone at this point and its much to early to consider retheming.

At this point I believe the Dream and Fantasy are also the only two ships without a dinner show and I'd assume we are going to head in the direction of adding one on each of these. Disney over recent years has been really focusing on bringing more Disney theming into resorts and restaurants.

With all that being said, I do think a Alice and Wonderland themed dinner experience would be pretty awesome!
