I honestly paid no attention to the name...I did note that it was a Celebrity Cruise ship. I also noticed that it wasn't nearly as nice as the Magic. Cracking paint, rust spots, etc...I really wasn't impressed.

I think it's the Celebrity Galaxy. DW and I took an Alaska cruise for our honeymoon on board her sister ship, the Mercury. It was an incredible cruise, actually, Celebrity is a very good cruise line. I think the Galaxy is 2-3 years older than the Disney Magic, sorry to hear that she's a bit rusty.

What time did everyone have to wake up to get these AMAZING sunrise (or sunset) pictures? (Did you go by the time listed on the weather sheet or just got extremely lucky?) They are gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing!

when i took mine (posted mamy pages back)...i was up around 5ish...i get up at 3am at home so that's sleeping in for me...but that is an "AWESOME" time on the ship - it is SOOOO peaceful and beautiful - i highly recommend it - at least once!

My only sunrise shots were on the day of disembarking, at the end of my cruise :(

We had to be up that early anyway and I wanted to get one last coffee and one last walk around the deck before heading home~

My sunsets at St Thomas and St Maarten were easy, the sun was going down just after it was time to reboard after visiting the islands. My favorite and best sunset was totally by chance-we had gone in the theatre to see Narnia. The beginning of the movie is kinda slow, I started falling asleep...so I went outside...the sun was just setting, it was gorgeous! I went back inside totally refreshed and Narnia's excitement was just picking up and I was able to watch the rest of the movie without feeling tired at all~

This was what I came out to...
