That't the jut out location on the bridge, with glass floors, that the captain or other officer stands on while pulling into port. It allows them to see the pier.

Wooohooo we had finally arrived Dec 3, 2006

I haven't been here in a while, trying to stay away until I knew when I was going to be able to go back. Well, the good news is two trips have been scheduled! I've had a wonderful day looking at all of your posts, and I will now add my POTD:

Our last cruise was during Mardis Gras shortly after Hurricane Katrina. One of the families that we met here on the Dis Boards was from New Orleans. We planned a few "Disboard meets" during the week. During one of these meets we had a onboard "Mardis Gras" celebration, and handed out beads, tattoos and other goodies to many passengers onboard. My youngest DD made out like a bandit as you can see!

I'll be back again tomorrow!
