DCL Navigator App Question

I know that you can use this app using the ship's WiFi for free (only for use of the app), but has anyone experienced any charges from their cell company for logging into the ship's wifi for use of this app? I wonder if I need to call Verizon.

Thanks for any help.

No charges. Download the app before you board. Then put phone in airplane mode, then turn on WiFi. You'll connect to the ship's network and be able to use the app - no other online services unless you purchase a WiFi data package.

Keep you phone in airplane mode and you don't have to worry about charges for your carrier.

The chat feature worked great for us. Just make sure you go into your settings and turn on Notifications for the Disney Navigator app. Otherwise you won't be notified that you have a message. Also - they have some really cute emoticons that you can use - Disney, Pixar, Star Wars. We didn't realize this until several days into the cruise. Wish they were available outside of the app as well.
