DCL member only cruise paying in cash not points?

Hi guys,

I am really excited to say that I have closed at the VGF!!

One thing I have always wanted to do is the members only cruise on DCL possibly next year. Does anybody know as a DVC member can I book this and just pay cash and not use any points and it seems from posts on here, DCL isn't a good use of points?

Just one more quick thing- I just wanted to say that after years of going to the DVC sales talks on DCL and the parks and deciding it probably wasn't for us or the cost was a little too much, we decided to take the plunge and now I have done it I am really, really pleased!

The DVC cast members were fantastic- helpful, honest and up front and answered all our questions. Judy Kaufman was our rep and I can't praise her enough, I have seen her name come up on here in a few posts saying how great she is.

I can't wait to do my first stay as a DVC member! Especially as the VGF as they really do look special.

Yes, you can pay all cash for the DVC Member Cruise.

Since the Member Cruise is technically part of the Disney Collection, your membership will need to be purchased direct (or resale prior to March 2011) to be able to book the cruise.

The cruise sounds amazing- 2 nights in CC and apparently members really get spoilt with gifts and things!
