Does DCL still offer the land and sea package? Interested in getting a quote, but I can't find it on their website.

I'm pretty sure they did away with the package, at least for 2010. You can still book a 3 or 4 night cruise and however many nights you would like at WDW.

Lisa,

You can add on days before or after your cruise, but, if you book the land part of the trip through DCL you can't take advantage of the dining plans, or any special rates that are offered. I was looking for this too and was a bit disappointed to learn of it...

You are better off booking the two things separately (DCL through their website or TA) and WDW through disneyworld.com or TA. That way if there is a special discount offer at WDW for your dates (or you happen to be the lucky recipient of a PIN code), you can apply the promotion to the land portion of your trip.

You'll still be able to use ME (free), but you'll have to pay transfers for the cruise to/from PC. So for example, you book the land portion at the beginning of your trip, and say you are staying at the Contemporary in MK. Here's how it would work. You'll jump on the ME from MCO to the Contemporary. Once the land portion of your stay is completed, you'll catch DCL bus from the Contemporary back to PC (make sure to let guest services at CR know you are cruising after WDW). Once the cruise is completed, the DCL bus will take you back to MCO.

Hope that helps! :thumbsup2

thank you everyone for your replies! We will drive down so won't need transfer from mco. So just ME from hotel to ship?

^^^ ME doesn't go to Port Canaveral. ME only operates between MCO and WDW.

If you need transportation between WDW and Port Canaveral you'll have to pay for the DCL bus transfers separately ($70pp one way). Or rent a car. Or hire a towncar/limo to transport you there.

If you are driving down, is it your own car? Or are you renting one?

It would be our own car.
