Hi, I'm new to this thread despite booking this trip two years ago...I can only blame it on my work schedule *sigh*. Anyway, just wanted to say hello.

I'll be traveling with my DH Ed and DD Hayley (college age) and this is our second Disney cruise We have late dining.

I'm so excited I can barely contain myself - have been looking forward to this trip for a long time.

Is it too late to do the FE?

Can't wait to meet you on the ship! The FE deadline should be the 23rd of July. I'm glad to see another family interested in the FE's that has older kids. In my group it's my mom, my grandma, and three of us college-age 'big' kids!

I think it is my fault that you don't have Jonathon's age. I forgot to put it in the FE list. Thanks for noticing. I went back and checked when she joined FE and he is 15 years old.

I worked the 4th but the only danger was overexposure to fluorescent lights! It was a beautiful day out and I slept most of it.

We are actually heading to TX tomorrow for a long weekend. Texas in July.....

We too are going to texas next week with a uhaul!!!! Too hot for me!!

Good morning all! I have one sutecase packed and one other 1/2 done. I am really trying not to over pack for this trip since we have to pay for bags. I think I can get by with 1 1/2 bags and DH can have the other 1/2.

Enjoy the kids while they are small because they will be gone before you know it.

I have been working on the wedding invitations for DD Oct wedding so they will go out before the trip. So little time and so much to do. Does anyone else feel like this cruise seemed so far away and now I am not prepared for it being this close?

Haven't even thought about it!! I guess when we get back from texas I can start to pack!!!

I have to brag about my disney kid. He is 22 and a 2nd LT in the Airforce, statationed in Germany. One of his co-workers is going on the Magic next week out of Barcelona. Well he told her all about what not to miss on the ship and directed her to the disboards!!! He says" I am such a disney nerd" This mom was so proud!!!

I need to get my act together and start planning.

I thought that once the kids finished school, I would have more time to get things done. WRONG!

Marina and I are going to Mackinaw with her Girl Scout troop for the weekend.
We leave on Friday morning. Her leader has lots of plans- We will be going to the island, doing ziplining and high ropes, tubing, bumper boats, house of mirrors and some haunted attractions. On the way home, Marina would like to stop at Frankenmuth for dinner and to go to Bronner's. Since I am driving just the two of us, it sounds great!

Marina asked if we could drive alone , so we could stop if we wanted. I usually get stuck with all the girls that do not have parents going since I am responsible.

sounds like fun! Good plan to go just the two of you.

I won a drawing at work today. I had my choice of prizes. I could choose either an iPad 2--- which I immediately thought would be awesome to have on the plane to and from Vancouver, or $500 in cash--- which I immediately thought wow that would pay for our Ketchikan excursion.

I chose the iPad2. I figured it wasn't something I would buy for myself, it will last much longer than the cash, and we have already budgeted for our Ketchikan excursion so why not have something for me.

They said they are mailing the winners their iPads within 6-8 weeks. I am hoping that is from the original drawing date, which was in early June, so that I will have it in time for the cruise.
