On Wednesdays I go shopping
And have buttered scones for tea...

A DISer friend from a few cruises ago posted all of her Alaska pics on facebook, and WOW. The scenery is amazing, there were lots of whale pictures (from the Wonder) and it is so cool to see the Wonder sitting at the doc from the vantage point of the little towns. It looks like it just pulled up and parked next to the general store

I am getting so excited. I should probably book airfare eh? Still need to get the passport for the little one. I've been working over the weekends and the last month has been busy. Of course I work this Saturday AGAIN. Maybe the following Saturday.

I logged in tonight and was thrilled to see so many pages. I wanted to scream ... We are alive.

I am anxious to start seeing more trip reports. I love to see all the different perspectivies.

Can I ask where you are staying in Seattle and how are you getting to the train station on sunday morning?

I just found this thread now that I am starting to plan for August 23 Alaska. I wanted to add myself to the list and hopefully get to meet some of you. I am traveling with my family (DH, DS11, DD9 and DD7). Would love for them to meet other kids - if anyone is interested. My kids don't love the clubs (go figure??) but they love Disney Cruising. We have late dining and are on deck 2.

When I have some time I will try to read the thread to get up to speed. I

One of my good friends just came back from her first Disney cruise with the fam and her kids didn't like the clubs either! She was like

They actually called and said "come and get us out of jail!"

Well Welcome Aboard! I am also cruising with my family DH Steve DS Jake10 and DDMia8....We are still GTY cat 9C and have late dining as well. Our kids seem to be the perfect age to become friends!! This will be our first Disney cruise and we are very excited!

We're also from Jersey and have DD11 and DS 11. While my kids go in and out of the clubs, as seen on our Med cruise, they don't like to stay there. We're traveling with friends we met on the Med cruise and there are kids from 8-14 (I think I got those right). We're at 2nd seating and are on deck 8.

You aged Julianna by a year, I don't need any more angina!!!! We're also in NJ and are some of the friends traveling with Mindy. My kids are DS 10 and DD 13. Mindy you're kids are also 10!!! Been hitting the bottle early in the AM again, or is the diet effecting your brain!!!!!

Anyway, I was thinking 2012 not this August...and yes I'm tired....I stand corrected my kids are only 10, how could I not know that they just turned 10 3 days ago

We are from NJ also traveling with other famiiles we met in the Med last summer. DD11 likes the clubs but on the Dream did spend a bit of time going in and out of the Edge. We are late dining and are in gty for a 5b. We are really looking forward to the cruise I can't believe we are in double digits.

We are getting very excited for this cruise too. We have 5 kids ages DD 13, DS 8, DD 7 DS 4, DS 1. A couple of my kids will be close to yours. My oldest daughter started a kids thread for this cruise. Here is a link to it.

I am so glad you had a great time. What excursion did you do. I have booked or planned all private excursions, but I want to know if they are worth it.
