A week from today we hit the road. I'm a church music director and we're leaving right after church. I have a feeling the music will be played considerably faster next week

I can't wait!! I'm impressed with all you "plan ahead" packers!! I haven't even thought about that. Oh well....that's what next saturday night is for.

Happy Sunday all!!! I have three suitcases open on the floor!! So we are getting there. These long pants and long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts sure take up more room than our warm weather stuff!!!

Tommy and I were talking about this morning! We cannot wait. Joanne you you did not mention te parka and Long underwear. I am working today to try and get caught up before we leave. We are pcked except for the last minute things.

We did buy coats last year a LL bean, those are coming, we may carry them. How funny will we look getting on a plane in 100 degrees with jackets.

Oh my everything is falling apart. I wanted a PJ weekend. I have 5 errands to do. The phone is dead (needs a new battery), the cable box died (would not care except the kids will drive DH nuts this week without their movie time). They still cannot play outside because the Dismall swamp is still on fire and the smoke and ash is nasty. My sinus will be happy to leave this area for a bit. The doctor still has not done the paperwork for FIL to go to respite, MIL is still in the hospital, but appeaars to be responding to the antibiotics. How sad is it that I had to re-confirm funeral arrangement before going on this vacation. I really could use this vacation right now. Maybe that is why all this is happening. His plan is to make sure I really appreciate it. Hello, I got the message loud and clear. You can stop throwing curve balls now. Thank you

I hope eveyone else is doing well. Take your vitamins!

Check list is getting completed. Police are scheduled for dedicated watch. Mail is being held. Security is taken care of too. Credit cards notified. Whats left? hmmmm Oh yeah...meds. I am out of refills for my ulcer medication. LOL Not like I will need them.

Sounds like quite a weekend! I hope that Monday brings you a little peace! Although, I imagine it won't. Usually my Mondays are busy trying to catch up with the stuff that couldn't be taken care of on Sat and Sun because of business hours...

We definitely all should be taking our vitamins! We're all getting to the crazy point in our preparations. I really feel like this cruise preparation is way more stressful than either of my other two cruises. The wildly different climates is making my packing so hard. We are driving up through the heat so shorts and tanks are in order. But then when we get to Alaska it could realistically be cold enough for mittens!

We are bringing everything from bikinis to balaclavas! Haha, ok no balaclavas, but we are doing hats and scarves.

Can't believe it - we're finally just about there.

Today, we hit SINGLE digits for this cruise - 9 more sleeps to go. We booked this cruise back on Sept. 28, 2009. A mere 686 days ago - it's taken forever to get here.

Leaving on Friday and heading down to Seattle for a few days before coming back upto Vancouver on Sunday night for the cruise. Have excursions booked, medical insurance bought, starting last minute preparations and packing. This week is going to go by so fast.

Looking forward to meeting everyone at 3pm.
