Back from Disneyland and now trying to catch up on all the trip reports and whatnot! Had a great time, really enjoyed the amazing weather, and hating the fact that it's 48 and raining outside.

Yup. I have the same camera, but instead of the 75-300 I have the 55-250. I love my camera! Jim has the same one, too. There is also the T2i and T3i. They have a higher MP ability and have better video. Depends on what you plan on doing with it. Would you use the video option?

Here's a wonderfully detailed 1st cruise trip report to get you in Alaska bound mode. Lots of pics. They did a bbq on deck while sailing Tracy Arm. Ah! brings back wonderful Panama memories. Wait until you see Minnie's outfit!

As an aside, I know it's Alaska and it's early in the seasons, but....OMG IT LOOKS COLD! This Florida gal is starting to reconsider her packing list what the heck is all that white stuff anyhow?

I can't get it to work now either. I've sent a post to the original poster of the thread link, as I think it the cruisers are friends of theirs. Hopefully, it'll get back on track and we'll be able to read more.

Hope every one had a nice day! Took my mom out to breakfast and took a ride to the beach and walked around an art show!! Both boys called so it was nice to hear from them/ It was my first mothers day with out kids and I guess I handled it ok!!

Nancy also had a good day.
We had breakfast this morning at #2 sons house. Then this afternoon
our other two sons came to the house to see Mom.
Last night I took Nancy out to supper to celebrate our annivsary had a great time and a great meal.

Sounds like you had a busy week end. I am now cleaning!!! Roger let this morning for Virginia, I leave Tuesday for Orlando. My sister gets here Thursday, my oldest friday. My nephews saturday and the 90th birthday party Sunday. So when I leave Tuesday at 4am this house has to be company ready!!!!
