Can I do a cruise for 2 adults for less then 1, 800 in high or low season. How late can I book a cruise for.

I am thinking doing a 4 day Wonder, 3 Wonder, or Land/Sea Cruise for 7 days.

Main interest for Nassu and Carribean.

I am not interest doing excurions besides shopping. I love to shop.

I could either drive to the port or fly.

If I fly have Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta, GA to get cheap airfare.

Flying our Chattanooga airport is expensive.

Or

I could on trip that Boys of America with my cousin to WDW on bus trip. The trip includes tickets, bus, and hotel for 7 days for 900.00 per person.

The total cost is 1,800 for 2 adults.

Can do a cruise for less then 1,800 dollars for 2 adults that is the question?

Our cruise only fare for 7 days was $799 per adult. That was back in March and did not include airfare. We booked last September.

Prices have certainly gone up since then.

If you are interested in a land and sea package, I suggest you book the land portion separately as you will be able to find it cheaper and have more choice of resorts.

I also suggest you book airfare separately, as it is much cheaper than doing it through DCL.

Check out the prices on each of your options on DCL's website to give you a better idea of what it will cost.

Remember, all food and entertainment is included on the cruise (other than excursions and Palo). That is an expense you will have to include if you go to WDW.

Good luck.

You can currently book a 7 day cruise, cat 12 fo $799 per adult. Cat 11 is $859. This does not include air, transfers, insurance. There are September-November dates available for 2004!

We drive thru Chatanooga on our way to FL...and we've already driven 5+ hours when we get there....so if flying is too expensive, you are certainly within driving distance.

So, yes, you can do a 7 day cruise for 2 adults for $1800. A discount TA can save you a little over the published prices--allseas travel, Dreams Unlimited, cruisetraveloutlet, etc. are some discount TAs.

If you book at $799, the taxes take you to $850ish per person. Parking at Port is $10 per day (if you drive.) If you fly, DCL transfers are $49 per person round trip. You can drive in the night before and get a Priceline room for around $35...that way, you have allowed extra time for any travel problems, etc.

Have you tried to book during hurricane season? We booked a cat 9 for September on the Magic for 2 adults and 2 children for $2100. I'd think you could find a cruise for under $1800 for just the adults.
