Does anyone know if you can book the 2011 DVC member cruise on the Dream yet? Or maybe it's already completely booked if people are anything like me about being an early obsessive planner. I recently read about it in the Disney Files magazine. I'm not really interested in the Dream because it has only has 3 or 4 night cruises, and I've never taken a member cruise before but it would be a fun way to try out the Dream with a special cruise. Also, are the member cruises 4 or even 5 nights?

That was just a save the date announcement. Booking for the Member Cruise happens usually on a weekend day that is at the 11 month window. DVC will announce the booking day a few months before it happens. All booking happens through Member Services on that day (and subsequent days if there are any openings). Traditionally it sells out that first day. So far they have all been 4 day cruises.

Thanks for the info. Now I can relax for a while before I decide if we want to do the member cruise or not. We did a 7 day DCL last October and are doing a 5 day DCL this June and then doing an 11 day Celebrity cruise next March. It's interesting that the 5 day in June in a verandah (cash) costs $ 4000, and the 11 day Celebrity (out of Charleston) is $5000 and we are in a suite. My daughter and her family are going on DVC points (almost 800). If we had done the whole thing in cash, it would be $10,000. But when you're addicted to all things Disney, you have to pay the price!
