DCL drink pics

you'll have to forgive my forgetfulness and lack of attention, but on our previous 3 night wonder cruise, my dh and i used to go to a bar and get a drink while the kids were in kids clubs. I just remember it was the same place they used to put the gingerbread house . Any bars on the dream that you would recommend for our 3 night dream this May 2012?

Key Lime Margarita

From my trips to the states I found I really enjoyed strawberry daiquiri 's however onthe earlier pages of this thread I saw lime and peach daiquiri 's too! Hmmm I wonder what other flavours can you get?

So can I ask a dumb question? Being a newbie, of course everyone has been giving me these "tips".. (although the people who are tipping me have never sailed on disney before, but anyways....) is there a drink card? package? something?? or do you just have to buy each drink and that's it. i hope i am making sense. :)

where did you get the rice crispy treat?? I LOVE those!!

The concierge party, although I think you can call room service and ask if they have any available. I have heard others do this, and occasionally they are able to get them. :)

I can't wait until I can contribute some new drink pictures next month.

Stupid question, but I am just clueless. How do you pay for drinks such as drinks of the day? Do you hand over your room key and everything gets charged back to the room. Also the tip is automatically included right?

Yes, you pay with your room key. The 15% tip is already included.

I havent checked all the pages so I apologize if this has been posted. This is the Creme Brulee martini from Meridian Lounge on the Dream.

However this remains my favorite DCL drink, the Tropical Depression.

While we enjoyed the entertainment in Evolution and the District lounges, and the theming in Skyline and Pink, a really cool place is up near Palo, the Meridian Lounge. If you have a nice night you can go outside up there and it is just gorgeous. DH and I had that candle lit, side deck to ourselves for about 45 minutes on our recent cruise(see my picture of the creme brulee martini above). We had just a perfect night for this. With that said the mini golf is right above you, but we didnt let that bother us. ;)

Below is a photo of the yummy drinks that we had at the Castaway Club Reception. I don't remember what it was called, but I do remember it was yummy and I had several :dance3: If you know what it is called, I'd love to know the official name!

Just guessing: Could it be a key line margarita??? Whatever it is, it sure looks yummo!!!!!!!!!!! :dance3:

Are those the cups you get to keep, at the sailaway party? Or am I confused?

Yes, and they hold a bit more than their standard cups. If you bring your souvenir cup with you when you get a new Drink of the Day for the duration of the cruise, they will serve it in your cup. So you get get a little more bang for your buck once you make the initial purchase.

Nice, can you give me some examples of the drink of the day?

I want to get a couple of those cups for use back home, someone posted about picking them up off the deck after the sail away party and you can trade them in for new ones as a souvenir as you walk back to the cabin, can anyone confirm that?

Thanks!
