DCL charging more for mixology session for 2 people in our party?

I’m hoping someone knows bcs the last thing I want to do is call DCL. Here’s the situation: my son and DIL booked a mixology session for the first day of the cruise for $25. My daughter and her SO booked another mixology session for earlier in the day, and we’re being charged $40. Not a hill to die on ... But we can’t figure it out.

We booked the cheaper mixology the day booking opened for Platinum, and my daughter just booked theirs yesterday.

No need to call DCL for this.. just ask about it at GS once you're on the ship... if it's a mistake they'll fix it right away, or you can just cancel...don't waste your time on the phone for something this minute.

As others said- they raised their prices and it sounds if you were ‘grandfathered’ in you’ll pay the lesser price. If you cancel/rebook you’ll pay the higher current cost.

Essentially your son and DIL booked before a price increase. Your daughter and her SO booked after the price increase. Those who booked before the price increase are "grandfathered" in with the lower price, those who booked after the price increase are charged the higher amount. It caught a lot of people unaware last week when prices went up.

Hopefully with the raise in price they make it better. Mixology in December - drinks pre-mixed and ingredient list not provided so you could make your favorite again. Drinks tasted good but my DW and I agree that it was not worth it...
