First Magic~ just got back from the 11/8 & so sorry to disappoint you... the coffee hasn't improved any at all...
Cove Cafe Mocha's were very good, but you can't get just a good ol' cup of coffee in there, or really anywhere onboard (& I am not a coffee snob...). They refer you to the serving station swill... The coffee at dinner was a little better, but they still have the Nescafe contract. My DD thinks Disney should buy Dunkin Donuts, so they'll have it on the ship- LOL! Now that would make really happy!
We didn't think the food on the ship was that good at all this trip & this was our 3rd cruise- we liked it very much on our first 2 cruises. I just felt like I was being served banquet dinner every night. Several nights, it wasn't even served that warm.... I think they really need to change the menus. Parrot Cay is the worst... I spoke with several people who cruised Disney before & they felt the same way too.
Palo's is the best food on the ship, but I agree with Rae & Sebastian- the food is not equal to a high quality Italian restaurant. They need to change that menu too, more variety...The atmosphere is very nice & that's what makes it special.
The only other suggestion was made aready, which I second- Forget Key West- what a waste! Go to
Castaway Cay, or another day at sea would be just fine....
