Thank goodness, we already have one. We bought it at one of the live auctions on the Magic, and we didn't pay that much, that's for sure..lol.

What would you do with it though? Display it somewhere? Wear it? Sure wouldn't pay $250 for it!

Wow - my wife bought one for me on the Wonder 2 years ago at a silent auction. She paid substantially less than $250 - I love having it, but would consider parting with it for that price!

Looks like no one has been gullible enough to bite! The seller must have bought it at an auction, hoping to make a quick killing from the uninformed.

The last time we saw a captains hat (signed) in a silent auction it was going for well over $400 and the auction wasn't close to being over.

Thank goodness for the live auctions on the ship...the prices are so much better!

They've sold on of those on almost every DCL cruise I've been on.

My son bought one on ebay for $100. Thought it was kind of a silly use of his hard earned lawn mowing $$ but a certain percentage of his profit is is own and he wasn't budging on wanting the hat. It was signed by the Captain at the time (verified that, etc). Substantially less than $250 or the $1000.

WOW! We only paid about $125 in 2004 if my memory serves correct - it was signed by the captain.
