DCL Bus Tranfers to Resorts

I was looking into a private town car FROM Port Canaveral TO the Polynesian, and one guy wrote me back and said that:

"The Disney bus will wait until all are off the ship, and then stop at 5 hotels."

Is that true? Does everyone who is going back to DW get on the same buses? What resorts do they stop at and what happens if you're not staying at one of those?

And while we're on the subject, does anyone have any suggestions on a good, inexpensive shuttle service? There are only 3 of us, so its hard to beat the DCL bus price, but I'm willing to pay a little more for convenience.

Not true at all. We have used town cars on our recent cruises, but not because there's anything wrong with the bus service. It's just with four people it actually winds up being cheaper to do a town car. With three, you're right on the cusp.

The Disney buses will leave as soon as they are full and they don't always put you on one of the full size motor coaches. The one time we used it, in fact, they put us on a ten person Mears van that left within minutes of getting us loaded. On one trip I had to stand in the pouring rain waiting for our town car driver while I watched several DCL buses cruise on by heading for MCO and the resorts.

I don't know for sure how many resorts one bus will go to, but I would be surprised if it was as many as five.
