DCL brides question about extra guest cost

Hi-

Does anyone know how many guests one can have at a DCL wedding before they start charging extra and how much does it cost per extra guest?

Hi There

You can have 8 guests plus the bride and groom without any additional chaarges. After that the charges are:

11-20 guests $100
21-30 guests $200
31-40 guests $300
41-50 guests $400

I never thought of this question...new info is always good...I though a DCL was max 18 ppl..but this may open my eyes to new levels!

18 guests (plus bride and groom) is the limit for Deck 7 aft

I had 15 people and was charge the extra $100 for cake and toasting drinks (they had champagne and sparkling cider)

So if I were to have over that amount of guests do you know where the ceremony would be?

If you are over that amount I believe you have to have your Ceremony in the Lounge.

yes...more than 20 (with B&G) and they will not book the ceremony on the deck..I believe there is a sign that has a capacity limitation posted

We got married on the island and had to pay the extra $200! It was a joke because our cake was the SAME EXACT size as the cakes I have seen for only 2 people!

The cake is the same size? That seems silly, lol. Is there a maximum amount of guests that one can have on Castaway Cay?

Yup same size....I don't know if it gets bigger if you have more people, but we had 30 and there was still 1/4 left.

No limit to number of guest, but they will try to tell you they only have 14 chairs.....DON'T BELIEVE THEM! They will find more. I have a friend who was having 50, she had to get specail princing, but the did tell her after a fight there would be chairs for all of her guests. I fought them too and they "found" the chairs for my guests, there were even extras.
