DCL 4 or 7

I really, really want to book a Disney Cruise in the next year or so. My dd is starting Middle School so taking her out of school is a bigger deal than on past Disney vacations. That means during $ummer vacation, etc would be the best time for us. Here's my question ...if you could go sooner would you book a 4 day or would you hold out longer in order to afford a 7 day?

For those of you who have done 4 day, what is your fave Nassau excursion......dks 7 and 11.

Personally I would hold out, but that's just me. Better itinerary and longer on the ship. More sea days as well. Just my input.
