Dca???

Disney's California Adventure----

Main gate to DCA faces the main gate to DL. It is a theme park honoring the diverse areas which make up the state of California---Vine country---Movie land-- Coastal waters---and the mountains of California...

Hope this helped a tad----Maybe someone with more knowledge of the park will submit a reply.

Hope I helped

Thank Patty! Can anyone tell me more about DCA. We are a family of 4 including 2 children, 11 & 13. Would this be a place for them?? How anyone done both Universal Orlando and Hollywood. Which is better? We already did US Orlando. Wanted to ventured out to CA with free airline tickets

Thanks:D

DCA would be fine for your kids. Hopefully you can devote 3 days to Disneyland resort. You can get park hopper tickets and spend time in both parks. I personally found DCA dissapointing but there are some really good things there.
I have yet to hit Univesalr studios in Orlando. I did go to IOA though. The thing about Universal Hollywood is that it has lkoads of history. On the tram tour you go by buildings where costuming and sets and makeup were done in the 30's up until now. There are sets from way back when and though allot of the old sets have been razed for new stuff it still feels like old Hollywood in some spots. You also get allot of the seperate rides from Orlando all on the tram tour. So instead of waiting in seperate lines for Jaws, King King and Earthquake they all happen on the 45 minute tour along with a few other smaller items.
I am going to Unersal Orlando for 3 days in may and looking forward to the differences.

DCA will be a fine park when, or if, it gets a chance to grow up. At this moment there are several fun things in the park: the "Soarin' over California" hanglider simulation, the "California Screamin'" rollercoaster, the Grizzley River Rapids raft ride (if it's warm enough), the animation exhibit, and the Aladdin show. It's worth a visit if you've already decided to go to Disneyland, but not on its own.
